Check Your Tires

By Fact-esque

If you support Obama, that video is one you definitely want to share with all your friends and family.  I'm thinking of dropping the audio to my iPod I like it so much.  He's charming and pitbull tough at the same time.  It's the perfect example of what Mike Lux is talking about here, when he said that people need to get to know Obama.

I found the video via a True Majority action alert asking you to pledge to inflate your tires to the proper pressure.   Not only does the alert push a good idea, it also serves as a great example of how progressive organizations can jump on an issue or news story to give the right message some life beyond the standard news cycle.  More like this please because once we have President Obama in the White House, we're going to need a strong echo chamber that can amplify the policy initiatives he gets right and oppose the ones he doesn't.

The Repugs have turnerd this into a negative

Time for some push-back...an Obama for President tire gauge for every contributor!

Why do the Republicans have

Why do the Republicans have to mock simple, common-sense measures to help save energy?

I signed the pledge.

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed." Dwight Eisenhower

Why?

Because there's no PROFIT in it for them.

Privatize the profits, socialize the losses. The new RepubliCANT mantra.

If all else fails, immortality can always be assured by spectacular error. ~~~John Kenneth Galbraith

I forgot

Maybe they need to show McCain riding on 4 flat tires.Saying i forgot to check my tire pressure.

Crash's most prominent "flat..."

Is in his pants! Maybe the McBush campaign should revive those old Bob Dole Viagra® ads.

You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them.
