People actually write this stuff:

Democratic presidential candidate Gary Hart's 1984
campaign suffered when it was revealed that he had changed his
signature several times over the years. "Who is Gary Hart?" his rivals
demanded.

That's a new level of stupid.

I actually liked something a commentator on MSNBC said this

morning. When asked about the furor over Obama and the wearing of the flag lapel pin, one of the talking heads asked why no one was questioning Hillary about her never wearing one.

More people should be questioning stupidity, just as that commentator did.

I'm suppose to feel excited about people's enlightenment

But then I see democrats telling us not to nominate a black man because he can't win.

And what's that horrible smell?"

Young Evangelicals Abandoning GOP Over Iraq, Economy
Seattle Times
May 11, 2008 10:37 AM

Michael Dudley is the son of a preacher man.

He's a born-again Christian with two family members in the military. He grew up in the Bible Belt, where almost everyone he knew was Republican. But this fall, he's breaking a handful of stereotypes: He plans to vote for Democrat Barack Obama.

"I think a lot of Christians are having trouble getting behind everything the Republicans stand for," said Dudley, 20, a sophomore at Seattle Pacific University.

Dudley's disenchantment with the GOP isn't unique among young, devoutly Christian voters. According to a September 2007 survey by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life, 15 percent of white evangelicals between 18 and 29, a group traditionally a shoo-in for the GOP, say they no longer identify with the Republican Party. Older evangelicals are also questioning their traditional allegiance, but not at the same rate.

...

I believe that both parties are failing miserably at

representing the views of the American voter, and they are going to be made to pay for it at the polls eventually. We beg for candidates that share our views, and all we get are different flavors of the same old corporation-and-media approved selections. Americans want Kucinich, they get Hillary. They want Edwards, they get Obama.

The bottom line is that with the 2 party....

.....system we literally have nowhere else to go...

These guys can talk the talk but ince in office don't back it up....
