Obama camp to deploy high-profile female surrogates

By thePoliticalCarnival

By GottaLaff

Last night I posted Hillary Clinton's response to McCain's snoozer. Now they're fighting fire with even more female fire:
The Obama campaign is planning to send out some high-profile female supporters, including Hillary Rodham Clinton, to blunt Sarah Palin's potential to draw women's support to the Republican ticket.

Besides Clinton, Governors Janet Napolitano of Arizona and Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas are also scheduled to campaign for Obama in the coming weeks. [...]

Sebelius got things started yesterday, saying of Palin's acceptance speech that she had "mastered the words written by the Bush speechwriters" but didn't address the issues voters speak about every day.

Clinton is set to arrive Monday in Florida.

Maybe they should round up 5 kids (including a baby), a Miss Information sash, a few AK-47s, and a moose to give themselves more credibility.

I really enjoyed the event last night

Now I'm looking forward to the rest of the games on Sunday and Monday night.

Yeah. If you're a Republican woman you

can be Sec of State and VP. If you're a democrat woman you get to be a surrogate. Ok... "sweeties" have fun as obama pimps you out... "Where my votes, BITCH"

In case you forgot, Clinton also had a female

Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, who actually WAS an accomplished diplomat that did DIPLOMACY, unlike Condi, who seems limited to photo ops with foreign heads of state and delivering threats to people we refuse to talk to in any other form. I also recall repubs were pretty anti-Hillary all during her White House days, as they were worried she had too much influence on policy, such as healthcare. Amazing how repubs have suddenly done a 180 on the role of women in government.

It's not like Bush was the

It's not like Bush was the first to appoint blacks or women or black women, either.

Republicans act as if they are the first to have a female VP candidate. They have completely forgotten Geraldine Ferraro.

Hey bebe....

Weren't you just saying (on another thread) that Obama was begging Hillary Clinton to campaign for him, yet she said no? Was the radio show that you heard it on one of your right wing-nut hate mongers' shows? My guess is, that's a yes.

Hmmmm.

Nope, that wasn't me...

You didn't hear that from me. I never listen to talk radio left or, right and don't own a tv. And don't know what in the hell hillary has been up to.

By IlluminatiHottie September 5, 2008 - 1:30pm

Are you bebe? Perhaps another cup of coffee is in order?

heh heh....

No and yes. Sorry.

By IlluminatiHottie September 5, 2008 - 1:32pm

No prob. ( I like the French Roast brewed to about the consistancy of change oil, myself, but I have to get up at 3:30am on work day.) :D

Hey you're a trucker, right?

I was wondering how in the hell you're able to buy diesel, maintain your rig and buy coffee? Hang in there.

By IlluminatiHottie September 5, 2008 - 1:41pm

I get why you think that I'm a trucker, perhaps I should change my 'handle' . I'm a pipefitter, and I had been spending a lot of time away from home chasing work until very recently. And I'm very grateful that I don't have to pay to maintain a rig. Thanks.

Pipefitter....there's a joke in there somewhere.

Seriously though. So, you work your ass off for a living? My great grandpa was a steamfitter (I think that's what they called pipefitters in the old days) in the oil fields many years ago. It was his ticket off of the reservation. If fact he worked for some guy that you folks absolutely hate. :)) Anyway my grand pa used to tell me stories about his dad's 20 hour days.

Hey hottie, seems like I

Hey hottie, seems like I read a post the other day that you are in Ga.. If this is true, nice to have another peach in here.

By bebeholmesSeptember 5, 2008 - 1:57pm

bebe is trying to poach some eggs.

By f u bush2 September 5, 2008 - 2:00pm

bebe may be from Ga., but he certainly is no peach!!

Atlanta

Well, I'm hardly ever there but, I do have a house there that I stop by and clean the cob webs out of when I get a chance.

By IlluminatiHottie September 5, 2008 - 1:54pm

**chuckle** Yeah, there sure is!

My 'Official" title is, Building Trades Journeyman Steamfitter, and yes, I do work my ass off for a living...I'd have to fall on my sword if I were tied to a desk! I like that I can get excercise and make money at the same time. The era of the 20 hr days are all but over, though on shut-downs, 12, 14, 16 hr days are not un-heard of. I actually love my work (for the most part). BTW...who'd your grandpa work for? Just curious.

Quick...say something mean before people start telling us to get a room!

Damn roadkill, does the word

Damn roadkill, does the word "bull dyke" mean anything to you?

By bebeholmesSeptember 5, 2008 - 2:28pm

Shut up, cracker! I know what a bull dyke is, but what would that have to do with an attractive, fit and heterosexual/married woman like me? Sounds like you feel threatened.

DOG, you are truly ignorant!

"bull dyke"

Pappy! Your wife would be VERY disappointed in your telling everyone what you're married to.

For SHAME!

P.S. - I put my money on goddess taking a wrench and knocking you senseless before you get the chance to run away like the little girl you are.

Fuck you roadie....

Mean enough? Anyway, the guy he worked for was George the first. Who interestingly enough was also my grandpa's little league coach.. The evil man....;)

How the democrats plan to deal with the fact that the Republican VP selection has more executive exprience than their Presidential nominee

Shut up bitch!...

Yeah, that works.

Wow, that's funny/interesting. (I'm sure he didn't start out "evil", he just started hanging out with the wrong crowd. :-D)

By roadgoddessSeptember 5, 2008 - 2:57pm

I don't know about that. How can you NOT start out evil when your dad does business with Nazis?

Good point!

You mean Press the guy who helped found

the united negro college fund and planned parenthood? Yep, the whole Pressy/nazi thing was blown way out of proportion by the same people who thought blacks going to college was a bad thing. Gotta love them dixiecrats and their limey buddies.

Oh look, Illuminutty found Wikipedia. That's so cute...

Support the Troops.

Huh?

Actually that's from Bushe's autobiography but, what ever.....

By IlluminatiHottieSeptember 5, 2008 - 4:30pm

Bush is spelled without an "e", your comma belongs before "but", & "whatever" is one word. Other than that, your incomplete sentence is a stellar example of English communication.

Jaysus, lay off the sauce already.

Support the Troops.
End the Occupation.

yeah, and I am sleep deprived.

and again I'm byping this shit with a stylus....Guy? shut the fuck up ok? And I'm off the sauce since 6 this morning... that's part of the problem

By IlluminatiHottieSeptember 5, 2008 - 4:41pm

And I'm off the sauce since 6 this morning...

Maybe that's why you're "byping". I don't know what that is, but it sounds painful.
