Like "Boo Boo" says, people are looking at issues. Just look at how they discussed the economy at the Repug funeral...er...Convention. The one that couldn't even have their sitting president appear in person.... and their VP not at all. We noticed that. We also noticed how McCain talked about the corruption running DC for the past 8 years! McCain is running against his own party! With a nobody who speaks in tongues! This is great!

AAR has more threads on McCain/Palin than they do on their very own candidates, and most of the focus is on Palin. I haven't seen a thread celebrating Obama's ideas here yet, because he has none. No threads here on Biden's great ideas, because he has none. Why is Lionel obsessed with Palin?

As much as the cowboy is part of American history, the idea of having cowboys like Georgie, John and Sarah running this country is frightening to me. I see the "independence" and "ruggedness" of McCain and Palin as nothing more than saddle-worn cowpoking.

As much as it distresses me, I have to concede that the Republicans will retain control of the White House. The Democrats have becime terrified and paralyzed. They seem afraid to attack or do anything that might upset the Republcans. I think that the powers that be (Republican, of course) have some dirt on them and will expose the leadership if the try to fight back.
The real clincher is the dogged propaganda machine of the republicans.
They have managed to castrate the press. The American public has bought it to the degree that they think the press is controlled by democrats and anything it says is not crdible.
Then you have the expert and effective smear campaign and masters of propaganda that the Republicans have. If all this is not enough, and if enough voters choose Obama, they will thwart the voters through fraud. Only with an over whelming majority that will make it impossible for them to rig the results can the Democrats win. I don't think there are enough people left to get that many votes.
Look at any blog or comment concerning anything negative about Palin. They condemn anything negative. You have to face the fact that most Americans are illiterate morons. They have no capacity to grasp facts. They have no concept of issues. They think intelligence is the ability to call someone a dumbass for having a cogent thought.
Nothing anyone says, regardless of fact, proof or reality will be heeded by these pathetic
voters(?). They will likely condemn you as an America hating, treasonous traitor.
It is hopeless. They have no clue that they are being hammered daily with propaganda.
They love the propagandists and that is all they hear.
For all of the value Air America can contribute, nobody hears them. They are too small, with too few stations with too little broadcasting range for anybody to hear them.
If it is working, you may be able to listen via the internet, but that seems to work about 50% of the time. We have one station that I can locate in my entire state. It broadcasts with 1000 watts. It is hard to pick up the programs over 10 miles from the station.
You can transmit truth, proof and rebuttal, but nobody is hearing it. Those that do are already aware of the trouble. Those who fit into the deficient category would not listen if you paid them and would not believe anything you said. All of the big powerful stations blanket the entire country with Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, Boortz, Beck, etc etc etc.
But of corse, as the empty headed ones hear from this crew daily, the liberals control the media. Conservatives just don't have a fair opportunity.
