Militant Christian Terrorist Rudolph Sentenced

A defiant Eric Rudolph was given two consecutive life sentences for a bombing that killed a police officer and maimed a nurse yesterday. Rudolph, who had pled guilty earlier to 4 other terrorist attacks, including the '96 Atlanta Olympics bombing, showed no remorse, insisting his actions were justifed by his Christian beliefs. But most Christian leaders have condemned the use of violence, including terrorism and even war, and one prominent Christian leader, Pope Benedictus XVI, has stated that 'Christianity is a religion of peace.'
