Terms of Service

Air America's standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to Air America Radio Premium. In addition, the following policies apply:

What is included in Air America Premium
Air America OnDemand members have exclusive access to archived Air America Radio programming in addition to exclusive content made available only to OnDemand Members.

Exclusive content includes but is not limited to video streaming of the shows, uncut interviews that were not available on the air, audio and video interviews of celebrities, and special events. Exclusive content is made available as frequently as it is possible to do so, but features like video streams are not generally available 100% of the time.

Like all other broadcasters, from time to time our hosts may take scheduled vacations, be otherwise unable to do a show due to illness, or some other extraordinary circumstance. In those situations a substitute host will broadcast in their stead, or "best of" programming will be substituted. Such situations are to be expected and have been figured into the pricing scheme for the OnDemand program.

It is NOT necessary to purchase an OnDemand subscription in order to listen to the audio stream of Air America Radio. That service remains free and there are no plans to charge listeners for access.

Podcasting
Podcasting is a technology allowing for the automatic download of Air America programming as it is posted online. It is similar to a Digital Video Recorder (commonly referred to as TiVo) in nature. Podcasting requires the use of specialized software called a "Podcatcher" in order to function. Currently, AAR supports two Podcatchers - iTunes and Juice. While it is certainly possible to podcast AAR through other software, we are unfortunately unable to offer technical support for any software other than the two named above.

It is recommended that anyone having trouble with Podcasting visit the Air America Radio support forums for tutorials and solutions to common problems.

Operating Systems
Air America Radio currently offers technical support for users running Windows XP/Vista and Macintosh OSX. While it is certainly possible to run Air America Premium on other operating systems we are unable to offer support for operating systems other than those named above.

Payment
We accept payment for Air America Radio Premium via our secure online credit card processing service. We are unable to accept payment through any other method including mailed check or money order.

BILLING POLICIES
  1. Account Types and Charges. All Single Show and "All Access" are automatically billed at the end of each billing cycle for your convenience. If you would like to cancel your account or do not wish to be re-billed please do so before the last day of your current subscription.
  2. Payment Terms. OnDemand Access subscription charges for the Service are payable in advance. Air America Media LLC. is not responsible for any charges or expenses you incur resulting from charges billed by Air America Media LLC. in accordance with these Terms of Service (e.g. overdrawn accounts, exceeding credit card limit, etc.). By providing a credit card number, you authorize Air America Media LLC. to continue charging the credit card for all charges due Air America Media LLC. until your Air America Premium account is terminated by either you or Air America Media LLC. Air America Media LLC. reserves the right to limit the number of accounts that may be charged to a credit card (for example, no more than 5 accounts per credit card).
  3. Billing Periods for Recurring Charges.
    Monthly accounts will be billed monthly on the same date of each month (e.g. the 10th of each month), beginning on the first day following the end of your trial period.
  4. Annual accounts will be billed each year on the same date, beginning on the first day following the end of your trial period.
Account Management
Users are able to manage their accounts by clicking the "Edit Account" link in the upper right hand corner of all OnDemand pages. On the "Edit Account" page users are able to edit their contact address and password, and make changes to their service level or cancel the service.

Account Upgrades
If a user is a member of one of our shows and wishes to upgrade to the "AllAccess" level, they can do that from the "Edit Account" page. Upon upgrading, unused monthly credit is applied to the price for the new account level.

If a user wishes to downgrade from the All Access, they should select downgrade from the account options and follow the instruction provided.

Cancellations
A user may cancel an account at any time via the "Edit Account" link. In those cases, the account remains active for the remainder of the current term and can be accessed as normal until expiration. No credit or refund can be given for cancellations.

Refunds
Except in cases of fraud or a situation where service is not available as described in this policy, no refunds are possible.
